One change that might be helpful to know is ‘Meal Preparation and Delivery’ . From now until the end of February 2022, participants can claim for meal deliveries if they have core support funding for support workers. This change will help participants continue to have meal supports, while reducing the need for a support worker to help them at home – this may help reduce their risk of exposure to COVID-19. If you or your family are affected by Covid-19, it might be a good time to check your service agreements with your providers so you understand their cancellation policy. This may prevent being charged for services that cannot go ahead if you/your family have to isolate.
